dutch oven shredded chicken

if you have a dutch oven, you’ll understand what i mean when i say it is truly a life changer.

sundays are the day where i prep my proteins, carbs and veggies for the week and having the dutch oven has totally simplified the process.

making healthy, tasty, succulent chicken breast has never been easier, you just toss it in the oven and can work on other things while it is cooking!

what you’ll need

  • 1 lb chicken breast

  • salt

  • pepper

  • thyme

what to do

  • preheat your oven to 350

  • lay the chicken breast on the bottom of your dutch oven

  • top with salt, pepper and thyme sprigs

  • cook for 35 min with lid on

  • allow to rest with the lid still on

  • use two forks to shred the chicken

  • store in food safe containers, refrigerate and enjoy!
